The Best French Markets in Australia

While a stroll through a Sunday market in Provence might not always be possible, Australia is home to a growing number of French-inspired markets that bring a little slice of charm to our shores. From artisan cheeses to vintage treasures, here are some of the most beloved marchés français to visit around the country.

Bastille Market – Melbourne, VIC

Held monthly at South Yarra and Northcote, this authentic French market is a celebration of food, fashion, and culture. Expect croissants, cheeses, charcuterie, handmade gifts, and live French music — all curated by the French-Australian community.
