Tucked beneath the Harbour Bridge in the leafy heart of Milsons Point, LouLou offers up a slice of Paris. It’s where linen-clad tables, the scent of warm croissants, and the sound of clinking cutlery come together in a setting that feels both effortlessly chic and unmistakably French.
The Boulangerie
Step inside the boulangerie and you’ll find golden croissants rising in the oven, dark rye loaves still warm from the morning bake, and rows of elegant pastries lined up like jewels behind glass. There’s café seating if you’d like to linger, or you can take your time choosing something special to enjoy by the harbour.
This is a boulangerie in the truest sense — not just a place for good coffee and flaky viennoiserie, but a daily ritual. You’ll find locals popping in for a lunchtime baguette filled with chicken or housemade jambon and Tarte Tropézienne to die for.
The traiteur offers a thoughtful selection of take-home dishes, from slow-roasted meats to buttery pommes purée and little jars of terrine you’ll want to tuck into with a cornichon and a glass of wine.

The Bistro
For something more formal, slip into the bistro. Anchored by dark timber, soft lighting and banquette seating, LouLou Bistro invites you to sit, savour, and stay awhile. The menu is a modern ode to French classics — steak frites with green peppercorn sauce, a beautifully cooked spatchcock, delicate salads, and always, always dessert.
The service is warm and well-paced, the wine list considered, and the feeling — especially on a Sunday afternoon — is of being exactly where you’re meant to be.
"Honest French food – from classic bistro dishes to freshly-baked breads, viennoiserie and wine – that’s the heart of Loulou."
A Second Home in the City
LouLou has opened its second location in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, nestled in historic Martin Place. While Petit LouLou has already begun serving its signature croissants and takeaway baguettes to office-goers, a full bistro is on the way. Think Provençal flavours, elegant interiors, and a little slice of France in the city.
