The idea of the good life, however, has always drawn me in. As a little girl, staying over at my Nan’s cosy old Federation home, my view of the hallway from her large hand-carved wooden bed was of a quiet painting of a lady casting her gaze over a simple table with a drink, a plate, and her beloved book. I’m so lucky that this painting now hangs in my own home and sets a scene for how I too would love to feel.
For this still life photoshoot, I wanted to create the kind of shots that make my heart sing, humbly inspired by the Greats.
